New Delhi (ILNS): The Bar Council of India has decided to extend the deadline for submission of details of all practicing advocates enrolled with their respective State Bar Councils as per the requirement of the E-Committee of the Supreme Court of India.
The Bar Council of India (BCI) yesterday wrote to the Chief Justice and his companion judges of Madras High Court to recall the “The Madras High Court Designation of Senior Advocates Rules 2020”
An appeal had been placed before the Supreme Court, asking for a mandate to universities and institutions across India to provide a reasonable time period for payment of fees. The court has asked the petitioners to approach the appropriate high courts.
