The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India made an announcement on July 3 that it has cancelled the May 2020 Examination after taking into account the academic interest and health of the students amid COVID 19 Pandemic.
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India on Thursday has informed the Supreme Court that there are operational problems regarding certain Centres due to spike of COVID cases in Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu.
The Supreme Court today while hearing a petition challenging Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) “opt out” option for CA exams, said that option for change of centre should be there in case the area becomes a containment zone.
The Supreme Court on Friday has sought the response from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) on a plea challenging notification issued ICAI permitting Chartered Accountant aspirants to "opt-out" of CA exams this year due to COVID-19 and related issues.
