Sub-rules (1) and (3) of Rule 9 lay down adherence to the Code of Ethics which is annexed to the IT Rules, 2021 and provide for a three tier structure for addressing the grievances made in relation to publishers. Madras High Court stayed these sub-rules of Rule 9 under IT Rules, 2021
Madras High Court division bench dismissed the PIL filed by H. Rajaram seeking the quashing of the appointment of two Tamil Nadu Additional Advocates General while observing that there is no merit in the petition and it may have been better if the petition had not been pressed.

Madras High Court while perusing the status report dated filed by the State indicating that adequate measures have been taken to vaccinate persons with disabilities noted some facts & reposed the faith of the Government of Tamil Nadu in taking the right measures to vaccinate all persons with disabilities.
The Government of Puducherry submitted that some payments have been made to the private medical colleges. It was further submitted that for subsequent bills raised by the medical college, the veracity of the bills need to be looked into.
