The High Court of Delhi on Monday upheld the constitutional validity of the Agnipath scheme, which was introduced by the Central government in June last year, for recruitment into Indian armed forces
The Delhi Police on Tuesday informed the Delhi High Court that the amount being spent on transportation by its Constables and Head Constables is much more than the allowance paid to them.
Delhi High Court division bench directed for filing of a public interest litigation in the matter and sought response from the Municipal Corporation of Delhi, the Chief Secretary of the Delhi Government and the Delhi Jal Board.
