Kiren Rijiju, the Union Minister of Law during his speech on the joint conference of the Chief Justices of High courts and the Chief Ministers of different States said that the Ministry of Law will readily assist the state governments in creating National Judicial Infrastructure Corporations at the state level, with due importance to district courts and lower judiciary.
Chief Justice of India Justice N.V. Ramana on Saturday addressed the inaugural session of the joint conference of Chief Ministers and Chief Justices of High Courts at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi along with many other legal luminaries were present to grace the occasion.
The Supreme Court Collegium has recommended the transfer of the Chief Justices of five High Courts to other states. The Collegium headed by Chief Justice of India Justice N.V. Ramana has made the recommendations on September 16.
