Maharashtra National Law University (MNLU) has come up with a course in “Nyay Shastra”, based on the ancient Indian judicial system that will train individuals as judicial officers and they can be recruited as judges directly without any further training.
According to Solicitor General Tushar Mehta, the country is in dire need of oxygen. Vedanta wants to make its plant operational but it should be allowed operational to produce only oxygen for health purposes.

“It is, therefore, a humble request to the Hon'ble Supreme Court that a Special Investigation Committee be formed on this entire matter to conduct a rigorous inquiry against the anti-social element involved in this unconstitutional activity so as to punish the accused,” the letter reads.
The matter was listed today before the three-judge bench of Chief Justice S.A. Bobde, Justice Nageswara Rao and Justice Vineet Saran. CJI Bobde said the high courts need to make a statement on adopting the draft rules for their high courts.
Hearing the matter of increasing deaths of forest rangers, the bench of Chief Justice S.A. Bobde, Justices A.S. Bopanna and V. Ramasubramanian expressed concern and CJI Bobde said each forest officer is entitled to more protection than others.
