New Delhi (ILNS): A Petition has been filed in the Supreme Court against the interim order passed by High Court of Madhya Pradesh allowing political parties to conduct the election campaign by virtual mode and not by physical gathering.
The Allahabad High Court has directed the SSP of Prayagraj to provide security to the gang rape victim of Phoolpur and her family. At the same time, the court has directed the SSP to monitor the investigation of the case on its own and take strict action against the negligent police officers.
The Allahabad High Court has stayed the suspension of inspector Anjani Kumar Srivastava, posted at Kareli Police Station in Prayagraj. The Inspector was suspended by IG Prayagraj Zone on September 9.
The Karnataka High Court has confirmed the life sentence awarded by a trial court to seven people involved in the gang rape of a law student. The Court has suggested that a law should be framed at the national level prescribing death penalty for the gang rape of women.

New Delhi (ILNS): The Delhi High Court today directed the Delhi Chief Secretary to file an affidavit stating reasons as to why there cannot be a system of e-registration of various documents such as property papers, wills etc.
The Allahabad High Court has stayed the demolition of the Bhovapur labour colony behind the Radisson Blue Hotel in Kaushambi, Ghaziabad until further orders. Simultaneously, a counter affidavit has been sought from the Ghaziabad Development Authority along with their complete rehabilitation plan.
