The Delhi High Court today has issued notice on the plea seeking directions to suspend the Senior Division Boys' Football League 2020-2021 in wake of rise of COVID-19 cases in the national capital.

The cases already filed under this arrangement will appear in the Courts for hearing. A certain number of cases will be presented in court, which will be communicated to the Advocate. For such cases, the helpline will be operational from April 12.

A two-judge bench of Justices Hima Kohli & Subramonium Prasad has asked Delhi Government to increase testing in those areas where number of cases increasing.

The Court has said that although the Police are making a lot of efforts, the infection is increasing, which suggests that much more remains to be done.

The Allahabad High Court has refused to issue directions for the protection of sanitation workers working in houses where Covid-19 patients may be residing.

The list of 13 districts include Jaipur, Jodhpur, Kota, Udaipur, Alwar, Bhilwara, Bikaner, Pali, Nagore, Ajmer, Tonk, Sikar and Ganganagar. All the marketplaces, workplaces and commercial complexes will remain closed from 7 pm, unless a special permission is obtained from the officer authorised by the District Collector in this regard.

Delhi HC today slammed the Kejriwal government after an alarming spike in Corona cases in the national capital in recent weeks, asking why did it waited till the court intervened to take steps such as reducing the number of people attending weddings to 50 to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

The Supreme Court today declined to entertain a plea seeking directions to prevent the “communalisation of the reporting of Covid-19 cases” by Chief Minister of Delhi in his official capacity via different modes as well as on social media via his official and verified twitter handle @CMO Delhi.

A PIL has been filed in the Delhi High Court seeking directions to the NCT of Delhi to initiate urgent steps for imposing strict lockdown in the state of NCT, Delhi in view of the assessment of the State’s Administration of widespread increase in COVID 19 cases amongst the population.
