The Delhi High Court on Monday stayed the criminal trial pending before the Rohini District & Sessions Court, New Delhi, in the complaint filed against cricketer-politician Gautam Gambhir, his foundation and others in the plea regarding quashing of complaint in a case relating to illegal hoarding

A Delhi High Court single-Judge bench of Justice Rekha Palli issued Notice to the Delhi Government and expressed: “It is expected that Delhi Disaster Management Authority will consider this aspect on an urgent basis.”

The Bombay High Court has issued notice to the Union of India and others in a PIL, seeking direction to waive off the penalty imposed on customers for not maintaining minimum balance in the accounts in view of Covid-19 pandemic, which severely affected the business activities.

The Counter affidavit has been filed in Supreme Court by Deputy Commissioner of Delhi Police according which in March , 2020 , the COVID - 19 virus began spreading across the country and the Government of India as well as State Governments imposed Lockdown and other restrictions to control its spread .
