The Supreme Court today said that no person can be forced to get vaccinated as right to bodily integrity is guaranteed to an individual under Article 21 of the Constitution. The choice to be vaccinated or not solely lies at discern of an individual.

A medical student, who was accused of violating Covid-19 vaccination clinical trial rules was granted bail on Wednesday by Allahabad High Court. A Criminal Miscellaneous Bail Application was filed by Sudhakar Yadav under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
The SCBA said it doesn’t have the facilities of a full-fledged hospital and requested members, who are suffering any ailment or have recovered from Covid, to consult their doctors before coming for Covid vaccination.
Vaccination will be done for 25 members daily at this stage. Interested members may give their names to DHCBA with copies of their Aadhaar cards and mobile phone particulars to [email protected].
The PIL has been filed by Political Party, Social Democratic Party of India, represented by its National Vice President Sharfuddin Ahmad, through Advocate A Selvin Raja.
