Dr K.K. Aggarwal, a former President of the Indian Medical Association, died of Covid-19 on Monday night. He was 62. Aggarwal had been on ventilator support for the past few days at the All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS), his family said.
The counsel for the petitioner contended the status report filed by AIIMS supports his case to the effect that the petitioner requires surgery on top priority
The SCBA said it doesn’t have the facilities of a full-fledged hospital and requested members, who are suffering any ailment or have recovered from Covid, to consult their doctors before coming for Covid vaccination.
The plea has been filed by health activist and public health expert Amulya Nidhi through AOR Abhimanue Shrestha and settled by Senior Advocate Sanjay Parikh.
This petition is filed by two petitioners with physical disability. They submitted that it is a well-established principle that the right to life under Article 21 of the Constitution of India includes the right to health.
