Relief has been granted to the former Amnesty International India head Aakar Patel by a Delhi court on Thursday while the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has been instructed to withdraw the Look Out Circular (LOC) issued against him.

Delhi's Rouse Avenue court on Thursday ordered the CBI to conduct an inquiry against former Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh in connection with the leak of CBI’s internal probe documents. The court said the agency seems to have released the main conspirator.
