The Delhi High Court on Thursday dismissed the plea of the late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s father Krishna Kishore Singh’s application for injunction against Sarla A Sarogi’s movie Nyay - the justice on the life and death of of Rajput. Hence there will be no stay on the release of the film.
The Ld. Counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an association of around 40 members, who are all registered for the examination. He further submitted that their only concern is that the exam be postponed for about 4 to 6 weeks considering the ongoing pandemic.
The present plea has been filed by his mother seeking CBI investigation and accusing the Tihar Jail Deputy Superintendent RN Meena behind his alleged murder.
The counsel for Shokeen has filed a certificate dated June 4, issued by Dr Hemant Tiwari, advising urgent surgery for extraction of the cyst, which according to him may be pre-cancerous.
Hrishikesh Baruah submitted that the website of defendant no.1 contains links to its social media accounts on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Whatsapp, and Telegram.
The Single Judge Bench led by Justice Subramonium Prasad noted: “It cannot be said that the order of the courts below warrants interference of this Court by exercising its revisional jurisdiction.”

A sub-committee consisting of judges of the Bombay, Delhi, Madras, and Karnataka High Courts was constituted to frame model live streaming rules. The sub-committee has held extensive deliberations.
