The bench considering the submission of Advocate Viraj Datar appearing for the Delhi High Court listed the matter before Divisional Bench subject to the direction of the Chief Justice on March 9.
The Delhi High Court has constituted a nine-member Committee for the examination of feasibility of accelerated approvals and explore confidential proposal put up by M/s Sarepta Therapeutics
The petition has been filed by the East Delhi Municipal Corporation seeking direction to the respondent authorities to ensure that there is no obstruction in the performance of duties by the petitioner
The petitioner's counsel submitted that the mother already had sufficient income on her own and hence, the award of the said maintenance was not in terms of the provisions of the Act
The court observed the situation while hearing the Habeas Corpus plea filed by the mother of a missing girl in the year 2019. The petitioner mother had to approach the Delhi High Court when Delhi Police had not taken satisfactory actions after filing the FIR.
It said that there is no hard and fast rule regarding grant or refusal to grant bail. Each case has to be considered on the facts and circumstances of each case and on its own merits.
The Delhi High Court has directed 3499 under trial prisoners, who were granted interim bail under various criteria amidst the outbreak of Covid-19, to surrender upon the expiry of that period.
It was also stated that the respondents namely DMRC and CISF are allowing certain persons a favourable position and restraining operators of South Delhi E-Rickshaw Association
