The Delhi High Court on Monday sought response from the Delhi government over a Public Interest Litigation seeking extension of emergency parole of prisoners who are above the age of 65 and prone to Covid-19 infection due to some ailments and medical conditions.
The Delhi High Court on Monday sought response from Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi on an application filed by Subramanian Swamy regarding summoning of various documents and witnesses in the National Herald Case.
The Court’s direction came on a Habeas corpus plea filed by son alleging his father was called at Narela Police Station on February 17, and since then he hasn’t returned to home.
Challenging the order of the Additional Session Judge 3, Amitabh Rawat states that all the citizens of the country under the Constitution of India have the right and freedom to protest including the right to oppose any legislation.
It has also been stated that the Delhi government did not provide adequate compensation for the loss suffered by these innocent people and hence they must compensate the people suffered in the riot.
