The Supreme Court on Friday ordered Delhi Jal Board to approach the Upper Yamuna River Board and make a representation relating to the amount of water which is not sufficient to Delhi.
The remarks came in after Senior Advocate Rahul Mehra appearing for Delhi government informed the bench that local authorities in other states are attempting to stop oxygen tankers bringing oxygen supplies for Delhi.
The petition also states Delhi has now become the worst-hit city in the country in this 2nd wave of corona virus pandemic. Thereafter it iterates the facts that two Delhi Hospitals face FIR for misinformation on beds for covid patients on 18th April 2021.
Looking at the health emergency that erupted due to the scarcity of oxygen at various hospitals in the national capital, the Delhi High Court on Wednesday directed the Centre and AAP government to fulfill the demands while saying "Beg, Borrow or Steal but these demands have to be met."
