The Madhya Pradesh High Court has directed the practicing lawyers in the state to approach their respective District Magistrates and Bar Associations for issuing of passes, so as to allow them to travel to their offices, during the curfew imposed to check the spread of Covid-19.
Moreover, the district magistrates will issue a pass having the date, time and address of the dealer/depot from where the oxygen cylinder can be issued/exchanged.
Even if the Courts are functioning by virtual mode, the advocates have to attend their office and their juniors and clerks have also to come to assist them.
The Uttarakhand High Court on Wednesday issued comprehensive directives on several issues concerning the critical situation arising out of the Covid pandemic. In one directive, the bench suggested that the state employ dental surgeons to supplement the work of overworked doctors.
