Two more petitions have been filed in the Supreme Court seeking a Special Investigation Team (SIT) investigation into gangster Vikas Dubey’s ‘encounter’ killing by UP police personnel.
“Unfortunately, the police has done the same act and murdered Vikas Dubey and didn’t follow guideline issued by this Hon’ble court in the PUSL Vs State of Maharashtra matter,” stated Atal Bihari Dubey.
The petition was filed by advocate Ghanshyam Upadhyay, seeking an investigation into the alleged ‘encounter’ killing of four accused who, along with co-accused Dubey, were alleged to be involved in the killing of eight policemen in Kanpur on July 2.
Gangster Vikas Dubey, who was “arrested” yesterday from Ujjain’s (Madhya Pradesh) Mahakal temple, was killed in an ‘encounter’ by UP police’s Special Task Force (STF) on Friday (July 10).
