The vacation bench of Justice Subramonium Prasad was hearing two connected pleas, wherein one was filed by the couple seeking protection of their life and liberty and other was filed by the mother of the girl seeking rescue of the girl from possession of the boy.
The court observed the situation while hearing the Habeas Corpus plea filed by the mother of a missing girl in the year 2019. The petitioner mother had to approach the Delhi High Court when Delhi Police had not taken satisfactory actions after filing the FIR.
The Court’s direction came on a Habeas corpus plea filed by son alleging his father was called at Narela Police Station on February 17, and since then he hasn’t returned to home.
