The plea was filed in the Apex Court,which calls for constitution of a Special Investigation Team which should identify the perpetrators who are involved in the alleged genocide of Hindus and Sikhs in Jammu which were living in Kashmir during 1989-2003.
The Centre on Monday apprised the Supreme Court that the followers of Hinduism, Judaism and Bahai, who are minorities in certain states, can be declared the same by the concerned state government.
