The Supreme Court on Saturday allowed the applications of the Punjab and Haryana High Court and the Allahabad High Court to transfer of judicial officers/sessions court judges who are dealing with cases of prosecution of MPs or MLAs to other suitable posts.
Chief Justice of Delhi High Court has directed all Delhi District Court Judges to send prior intimation of their intention to take leave, at least one day in advance, to concerned Principal District and Sessions Judge office; which shall immediately be updated on the Delhi District Courts website.
The Tripura High Court has stayed the government decision dated January 25, 2021, under which it was communicated that all such judicial officers who joined the service after July 1, 2018, would be brought under the new pension scheme and their GPF accounts would be closed.
The Supreme Court Collegium has approved the recommendation of two Judicial Officers (Mohan Lal and Mohd. Akram Chowdhary) as Judges in the Jammu and Kashmir High Court. In its meeting held on September 1, the Collegium also resolved to reiterate its earlier recommendations for elevation of two Advocates
