Amid the novel coronavirus epidemic crisis, the Delhi High Court on Monday expressed deep displeasure during the hearing of the drug hoarding case by leaders of various political parties.
A divisional bench of Chief Justice D.N. Patel and Justice Jasmeet Singh had earlier directed WhatsApp and the Central government to file its affidavits in the matter.
The plea has also asked for mandatory directions to hospitals for arrangement of oxygen tankers, uninterrupted oxygen supply points, oxygen ambulances.
The petition was filed in the Delhi High Court by Utkarsh Trivedi, a fourth-year student of National Law University, Odisha, through his advocate Satyam Singh Rajput.
The Delhi High Court on Tuesday decided to hear a petition against the ongoing Central Vista construction amid Covid 19 tomorrow. The hearing today was held before the bench of Chief Justice DN Patel and Justice Jasmeet Singh.
Luthra appearing before the Delhi High Court submitted, “Your lordship was pleased to keep it on 17th May. An SLP was filed, my request is that there is an emergency, a health emergency.”
