The Delhi High Court on May 1 directed Air India Limited to reinstate its 41 pilots who were dropped by the company last year and pay them the outstanding amount within 6 weeks.
In the previous hearing, the petitioner submitted before the Court that the people of Delhi need a dedicated facility from the Government to help them in handling and transporting the dead bodies infected of Covid.
It is submitted by the Petitioner that because of the COVID-19 pandemic since March 2020, and the nationwide lockdown imposed since March 22, 2020, the students couldn’t attend the schools physically, whereas managed to learn alternately through the online classes conducted by the schools.
The Counsel for National Medical Council had also appeared before the Court and submitted that any fix allocation and roaster of duty is not possible to make.
The bench of the Chief Justice DN Patel & Justice Jyoti Singh has issued notice to the Assistant Collector (Grade -1), office of the Registrar Co-operative Societies, Government of NCT of Delhi, Indian Overseas Bank, and the Jawala Cooperative Urban Thrift and Credit Society Ltd.
The court said that the practice of filing the writ petitions on the similar matter pending before any other bench of the concerned court will bring the multifariousness of the writ petitions.
The Delhi High Court will today hear a writ petition, seeking direction to expedite registration and vaccination of advocates below the age group of 45 years.
A Bench of Chief Justice DN Patel and Justice Jyoti Singh said: “No writ can be entertained on behalf of the businessman or a group of businessmen in the name of Public Interest Litigation.
The Counsel for the respondent submitted before the court that they have filed the status report in this regard and clearly stated that it is not possible to do so.
The counsel submitted that DDA is cancelling the allotment, that's why there will be no need for a reply. In turn, Chief Justice said to keep this on record and asked not to make unsure statements.
