The Delhi High Court granted bail to Furkan, Mohd Arif, Shadab Ahmad, Suvaleen and Tabassum, who all have been in judicial custody since last year, for allegedly causing the death of Head Constable Ratan Lal, as also causing serious head injuries to the DCP North-East and damaging public property
The Association of MD Physicians filed an appeal before the Delhi High Court, challenging the cost imposed and adverse observations made against the Association by the Single-Judge Bench, regarding postponement of the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE)
The vacation bench of Justice Subramonium Prasad was hearing two connected pleas, wherein one was filed by the couple seeking protection of their life and liberty and other was filed by the mother of the girl seeking rescue of the girl from possession of the boy.
The Delhi High Court was of the opinion that the issues raised in the plea against CBSE on Class 10 results are substantial enough and requires the adjudication, and thereby, issued notice to the respondents.
A single-judge Delhi High Court bench of Justice Subramonium Prasad noted, “The repeated attempts on the part of the petitioner is nothing but an abuse of the process of law.”
Delhi High Court dismissing the revision petition filed by a man convicted for offenses under section 279 IPC, and section 304A IPC has held that “two persons have died in the accident. It is not inclined to extend the benefit of the Probation of Offenders Act, 1958 and Section 368 CrPC.
The Single Judge Bench led by Justice Subramonium Prasad noted: “It cannot be said that the order of the courts below warrants interference of this Court by exercising its revisional jurisdiction.”
Additional Solicitor General SV Raju, appearing for the state, submitted that the application has become infructuous after Kalra’s arrest and nothing remains in the application.
