Supreme Court judge Justice U.U. Lalit on Wednesday recused himself from hearing a plea filed by the Karnataka government challenging the Karnataka High Court's decision to quash the 25 percent domicile reservation in the National Law School of India University (NLSIU).
The Karnataka High Court sought the response of the Central government in a petition challenging the validity of Section 2(c)(i) of the Contempt of Courts Act.
The Court has ordered the SHO of the market police station of Kalburgi to clean the road leading to the police station as a community service.The SHO did not register an FIR in the abduction case.
