The Indian Armed Forces Tribunal faces multiple challenges in the modern era, not least being involved in an era of gender parity and the ambit of cases it can officially deal with. At an India Legal Research Foundation event, Editor-in-Chief, APN channel, RAJSHRI RAI spoke with JUSTICE RAJENDRA MENON, the chairperson of Armed Forces Tribunal on a range of issues. Excerpts:

You just need to start your preparation early, if you want to improve your ways to get admission to the law school of your choice. 

The debate between practical and theoretical aspects of legal education has been growing. In this context, the norms surrounding legal pedagogy and course curriculum, along with ensuring the ethical and moral development of the students, need to be re-emphasised.

The Bar Council of India (BCI) by the notification on January 02, decided to scrap the Master Degree Course in Law of one-year duration introduced in India in 2013.
