The Jabalpur bench of Madhya Pradesh High Court on Monday dismissed the petition of contract employees seeking a direction to the state to continue them in service and to treat them as regular employees.
The Petitioner's counsel Bhupendra Kumar Shukla stated that the petitioner may not be assigned night duty as he is suffering from mental illness and depression.
In the petition it was stated that because of new market shifts vegetables are not being sold as a result price of the vegetables are increasing rapidly and vegetables are getting spoiled in the field.
The Counsel further stated that by order dated 23.11.2029, the petitioner has been transferred from one block to another, which is against the transfer policy.
The High Court has given an interim relief to both the petitioners and allowed them to appear in the Main Examination of the State Service and Forest Service Examination of the year 2019.
