The Allahabad High Court has directed the respondents to ensure that the petitioner (students), MBBS 8th Semester of 2019 batch, to appear in the examination to be held from April 19 without any hindrance and the petitioners shall be permitted to stay in the hostel.

The Supreme Court has affirmed the order of Bombay High Court which had denied admission to a medical aspirant in the MBBS course in NAMO Medical Education and Research Institute, Silvassa, Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu as the same is against the reservation policy of the college.
Justice Manoj K. Tiwari observed: “It is a settled position in law that while exercising power of judicial review, this court does not enter into the domain reserved for subject experts. Which qualification would be suitable for admission, in a particular medical course, etc.”
