The Delhi High Court has granted bail to a man who was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) for commission of offence punishable under Sections 8(c), 20 and 29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.
The Orissa High Court has advised doctors to write the names of drugs prescribed in capital letters or in a legible manner to help in easily deciphering them, their doses, strength, and also the frequency of use.
The Kerala High Court while hearing an anticipatory bail petition, said that advance bail in a Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 (NDPS) case could not be granted just because "nothing was recovered from the accused."
