Justice A. K. Mishra, chairperson of NHRC India, on Thursday said that no tribal should be evicted without the settlement of his/her claim related to land rights.
The petitioner sought the direction from Supreme Court to frame a policy for the decent cremation of dead bodies. In response, the two judges' bench directed him to approach NHRC.
