Large crowds turned up in the court complexes of the country to resolve more than 40 lacs cases in a single day in first physical National Lok Adalat of year.
The Legal Services Authorities, under the aegis of National Legal Services Authority (NALSA) and the leadership of Hon’ble Mr. Justice Uday Umesh Lalit, Executive Chairman, NALSA, organised the fourth National Lok Adalat of the year 2021 in 35 States/UTs on 11th December in both virtual and hybrid mode.
The Himachal Pradesh High Court observed that the Counsel appearing for the petitioner made a statement before the National Lok Adalat that as the state was intending to withdraw the appeal filed by it, the petitioner be also permitted to withdraw the cross objections filed by him.
The Legal Services Authorities across the country, under the aegis of National Legal Services Authority (NALSA), today organised the second National Lok Adalat of 2021.
A preparatory national-level webinar was organized by NALSA on “National Lok Adalat: Challenges and way forward” which was conceptualized with the aim to sensitize all Chairpersons and Secretaries of District Legal Services Authorities to ensure smooth and proper functioning of next National Lok Adalat.
