The Delhi High Court will on Tuesday hear a petition seeking judicial inquiry and constitution of a court-monitored Special Investigation Team (SIT) filed by parents of a nine-year old gild child, who was allegedly gangraped, murdered and her body forcibly cremated by her attackers, including a priest at Old Nangal village of the national capital.
A Delhi Court has directed the New Delhi-Delhi State Legal Services Authority (NDDLSA) to grant Rs 2.5 lakh interim compensation to family of a nine-year-old Dalit girl, who was allegedly raped and killed, after which her body was forcefully burnt by a priest and three others.
