The Supreme Court on Monday adjourned its hearing in a plea seeking directions to further reduce the qualifying percentile criteria across categories published on March 12, 2022 by the National Board of Examination more than what was reduced for NEET-PG 2020 on July 14, 2020, to accommodate the mitigating and extenuating circumstances that were unique to the candidates who had appeared in NEET-PG 2021, owing to Covid-19.
Delhi High Court noted that upon a holistic reading of the Bulletin issued by the MCC and the Brochure issued by CEI, it is apparent that the respondents’ intention to rely only on the Central OBC list for reservation even for institutional preference seats, was made abundantly clear from day one itself.
The Supreme Court on Thursday dismissed a plea filed by the doctors who had registered for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Postgraduate) exam, seeking direction to allow Centre Change Option to the aspirants and to postpone the exam of NEET-PG 2021.
