The Supreme Court on Monday continued its hearing on a batch of petitions seeking SIT/judicial probe into the reports of snooping using the Israel spyware Pegasus.
"We feel that any of the people who are interested in matters and are saying things in the media - we hope you will answer within Court. You must have faith in system," said Justice Ramana
The Supreme Court refused to issue notice to the Central government, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah on a batch of petitions filed against alleged snooping on the mobile phones of journalists, political figures and constitutional authorities through Israeli spyware Pegasus
Earlier, Pegasus tricked the owner into clicking on a malicious link. Two Mexican journalists were presented with supposedly compromising photos of their partners; one more received a plea for help finding a missing daughter with a link to a purported portrait.
