PK’s purported presentation to the Congress starts with a quote from Mahatma Gandhi, taken from Gandhi’s book ‘India of my dreams’ (page 242). The quote says: “the Indian National Congress… cannot be allowed to die, it can only die with the nation”.

Is the All India Trinamool Congress (AITC) going through a metamorphosis, or introspection, or a mere spring cleaning? Considering the fact that the party has just come through a landslide victory in the assembly polls and that it has also swept the recent municipal polls in some parts of the state, the morale should have been sky high.
