A single-judge bench of Allahabad High Court while hearing a Criminal Appeal filed by Ayyub Khan @ Guddu rejected the bail application to Ayub Khan alias Guddu, accused of raping a Dalit girl.

Patna High Court division bench while hearing a Criminal Appeal  filed by Guddu Kumar directed the Registry to identify all such appeals which are pending before the Court and are covered by subsection (4) of Section 374 or sub-section (4) of Section 377 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

The Allahabad High Court on Tuesday has stayed coercive action against the junior engineer, SDO and driver of the electricity department of Bhadohi in a case registered under the SC/ST Act. Along with this, a reply has been sought from the complainant and the government on his petition.
