The Supreme Court has allowed an appeal of the state of Uttar Pradesh challenging the  Allahabad High Court's order directing the state to  pay a compensation of Rs 25,00,000 on a finding of gross medical negligence on the part of doctors of S.R.N. Medical College which had resulted in death of an only son of an practising Advocate of the High Court who was also an Advocate.

Supreme Court judge Justice Sanjay Kishan Kaul launched the website of the Mediation and Conciliation Project Committee (MCPC) on Wednesday. The launch took place at the waiting lounge of the new Supreme Court Mediation Centre in the additional building complex.

Senior Advocate P.S. Narasimha was born on May 04, 1963. He was appointed as an Additional Solicitor General of India, in 2014 and he subsequently resigned in 2018.
