The Bombay High Court on Monday extended the interim relief of no coercive action against actor Kangana Ranaut and her sister Rangoli Chandel till January 25.; The High Court also directed the city police not to summon the duo for questioning till then.
New Delhi (ILNS): The Bombay High Court today granted interim protection to Kangana Ranaut and her sister Rangoli Chandel in the case filed by the Mumbai Police under sedition and other charges.
A case was registered at that police station on October 17 against the two sisters for spreading communal tension on social media and for making objectionable remarks about judges.
The Mumbai police today again asked actor Kangana Ranaut and her sister Rangoli Chandel to appear before them on November 23 and 24, over their "objectionable comments" on social media, allegedly intended at spreading communal tension.
Following the Bandra Metropolitan Magistrate’s recent order to lodge an FIR against actor Kananga Ranaut and her sister Rangoli Chandel for allegedly spreading communal hatred, now another criminal complaint has been filed against them before the Andheri Magistrate’s Court.
New Delhi (ILNS): The Bandra Metropolitan Magistrate’s Court today ordered an FIR against actor Kangana Ranaut and her sister Rangoli Chandel. The FIR was ordered after a private complaint was filed stating that Ranaut was “creating divisions between communities and spreading communal hatred.”
