The Delhi Tis Hazari Court relied on the order of the Supreme Court of India in the Suo Moto Writ Petition taking stock of the prevailing situation arising from unprecedented surge in and spiraling cases in the second wave of Covid-19 pandemic.
This is the second case relating to the said violence in which Sidhu has been granted bail in connection with the violence that occurred in and around Red Fort on January 26.
A Delhi court on Monday reserved its order on the bail application filed by Red Fort violence accused Punjabi actor-turned-activist Deep Sidhu who was arrested for his alleged involvement in the violence that took place at the Red Fort and other parts of the national capital on Republic Day.
The special cell of Delhi Police arrested Deep Sidhu and sent him to seven-day custody on February 9 for his involvement on January 26 in Delhi violence.
