The Chhattisgarh High Court disposes of a PIL alleging that from the year 2007 to 2011 though various roads were constructed by the respondents authorities under the Scheme commonly known as ADB projects, the quality of the construction was abysmally poor and was much below the minimum specification.
Allahabad High Court while hearing the PIL directed the State Government to file counter affidavit/affidavit to be sworn in by none other than the Principal Secretary, Law/ Legal Remembrancer himself stating therein as to what steps are being taken/proposed to be taken for ensuring.
Chhattisgarh High Court division bench held that no specific Rules have been quoted by the petitioners. It is pleaded that the shop is shifted only to accommodate the interest of respondents.
In these circumstances, Uttarakhand High Court division bench directed private respondent to maintain status quo and not to undertake further activities to establish the stone crusher plant till the consent to establish stone crusher plant is obtained from the State Pollution Control Board.
