In its notification issued on the Apex Court website it said, The Supreme Court Collegium on 4th May, 2021 has approved the proposal for elevation of the following Judicial Officers as Judges of the Madhya Pradesh High Court:
The Collegium comprising Chief Justice S.A. Bobde, Justice N.V. Ramana, Justice R.F. Nariman, Justice U.U. Lalit and Justice A.M. Khanwilkar approved the list as under:
The Supreme Court Collegium in its meeting dated 17th August 2020, had approved the names of six advocates for appointment as Judges of the Delhi High Court
The collegium has also approved the proposal of Advocate Aditya Sondhi and Judicial Officers Rajendra Badamikar, and Khazi Jayabunnisa Mohiuddin for elevation as Judges of the Karnataka High Court.
Justice Ganediwala's order saying skin-to-skin contact was necessary to be considered sexual assault under POCSO had set social media abuzz for its perceived insensitivity. Later, Chief Justice of India S.A. Bobde stayed the order as far as the POCSO provision went.
