After requests received from various Bar Associations and State Bar Councils, the Bar Council of India (BCI) has extended the time limit for the supply of relevant information September 30 for training, as required by the E-Committee of the Supreme Court.
A highly interesting and timely PIL had come before the Supreme Court today. The petition had sought directions to the HRD Ministry on waiver of fees for primary level students and also a waiver of extra fees charged under different heads by schools.
New Delhi: The Supreme Court today asked the State of Maharashtra to take appropriate steps to ensure that stranded migrant workers return to their native places at an early date.
During the hearing Justice Bhushan commented that nobody should assume that exams would be suspended just because “we are hearing this. Nobody should be under the impression that they cannot prepare. Students should prepare for the exam.”
