The Bombay High Court granted liberty to the Petitioners to amend the PIL to join the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai as a party respondent and give particulars regarding the issue of de-concretisation of trees in the city of Greater Mumbai.

The Bombay High Court has observed that Thane Municipal Corporation has unreasonably floated a tender for running pharmacies on a contract basis in Rajiv Gandhi Medical College and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Hospital in Kalwa with a condition of having an annual turnover of Rs 120 crore or more for the past three years.
