The Supreme Court on Friday allowed persons with disabilities, who have cleared the Civil Services exams, to provisionally apply in the UPSC Selection process for the Indian Police Service (IPS), the Indian Railways Protection Force Service (IRPFS), and the Delhi, Daman and Diu, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, and Lakshadweep Police Services.
A total of 248 candidates were declared successful for the post of Principal in the written examination and called for the interview. All were asked to bring a signed experience certificate from Joint Director Secondary Education.
The Allahabad High Court has issued a notice on a petition filed by applicants for the post of Lecturer (Mathematics) seeking quashing of the decision of Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission for not calling the petitioners for the interview for the concerned post.
