A Delhi court on Tuesday adjourned the hearing to May 28, on a bail plea moved by restaurateur Navneet Kalra, accused of hoarding and black-marketing Oxygen Concentrators, amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
On May 22, the same Court had dismissed the Delhi Police’s petition, seeking five-day Police Custody of Kalra.
Metropolitan Magistrate of Saket Court Vasundhra Azad had said, “I am dismissing this application, PC remand of the accused is not needed at the moment.”
Earlier, the Court had sent him to 14-days Judicial Custody and directed to produce him on June 3, before the Concerned Court/Duty Metropolitan Magistrate.
The Enforcement Directorate had also registered a case against Kalra on the basis of the FIR lodged by the Delhi Police Crime Branch.

On May 7, 105 oxygen concentrators were recovered from two upscale restaurants in south Delhi’s Khan Market area, owned by Kalra. On May 8, police transferred the case to the Crime Branch.
