New Delhi (ILNS): Today, the Uttar Pradesh Police have registered fresh FIRs against nine people, including slain gangster Vikas Dubey’s brother and wife, for obtaining arms license by using fake documents. FIR has also been registered for obtaining SIM cards on someone else’s ID.
Some days back, the Yogi government had suspended the Uttar Pradesh Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Anant Dev Tiwari over his alleged involvement with the gangster after an audiotape went viral.

The fugitive Dubey was killed in an alleged encounter on July 10 when a police vehicle carrying him from Ujjain to Kanpur met with an accident and he tried to escape. There were apprehensions over police-criminal-political nexus post his death.
