While opposing the bail of Sushil Kumar, accused in Delhi's Chhatrasal Stadium murder case , the Delhi Police has filed a status report in the Delhi High Court.
The two-time Olympic medallist Sushil Kumar facing charges of murder and kidnapping was produced before Metropolitan Magistrate Mayank Aggarwal at the end of the 14-day judicial custody.
Moreover, Rohini Court had dismissed a plea by Sushil for special food in prison including health supplements containing protein, Omega-3 capsules, ointment capsules, etc, earlier this month.
Delhi’s Metropolitian Magistrate Mayank Goel, who today heard Delhi Police’s plea for a seven-day extension of police custody of Olympic wrestler Sushil Kumar, accused in a murder case at the Chhatarsal Stadium, ordered that Kumar be sent to four more days of police custody.
The plea also wants media to not disclose statements of witnesses and all information related to the case. The plea says that only the investigation agency has that power.
