The Calcutta High Court has directed the West Bengal government to deploy adequate police forces in areas hit by violence during Ram Navami.
The Supreme Court will hear on Wednesday a petition jointly filed by 14 political parties, including the Congress, alleging misuse of the CBI and ED. The parties’ have sought that the two agencies follow guidelines for arrest and bail proceedings.
Former US President Donald Trump will appear in New York’s Manhattan court in the case of paying a porn star from election expenses. The court will hear the charges. Trump could face imprisonment of up to 4 years, if convicted.
